1960s Physician 100% Wool Blanket by Collins Mills Lime Green, Queen 235 x 200cm

1970s Physician 100% wool blanket by Collins Mills Lily Green Queen 250x 210 cm. In excellent condition with only one broken piece of thread on the edging. This is a wonderful piece of Australian history. Collins brothers closed their mills in 1974. A great vintage item in wonderful condition. Photographed on a Queen bed. A 1964 advertisement in the Australian Women's Weekly depicts this blanket with a range of plain colour options. From this advertisement, retrieved from national libraries of Australia (trove, nla) I believe this colour was called Lily Green. It is really in amazing condition for its age, I can only assume it was stored and not used very much.
