VINTAGE CANNON LEAKSVILLE NOS BLANKET 50% WOOL 50% COTTON 72X90 TAG INTACT WithBOX

Up for your consideration is a VINTAGE 1940's Cannon Leaksville 72x90 BLANKET. It appears to be in excellent condition in the original box. Made of 50% Wool & 50% cotton. Color is cedar with a satin edge. It includes the original box as seen in photos.

I don't believe it was ever removed from the box. Still has tissue paper in box. Box shows soiling and minor wear from being moved around with other boxes on top. Box has an old attic smell but blanket seems fine. She had the box wrapped in old brown paper with string around it.

It's been in dry storage in a dry attic for 70 years. I believe this was given to my mother as a shower gift or wedding gift, and they were married in 1949. There is still a piece of the wrapping paper on bottom of box lid. Also some pencil writing on box. Parents are deceased and we are cleaning out the attic.
