This on is heavier than the latter-made one I have in another listing. It is a heavier wool that is almost felted. This one has the two red stripes across the width and both sides have the felted cross.
This one was made in 57. I don't know the maker with the BAGS initials though. There is the original metal medallion still in place. This is known as a Class 1 in value. Two small holes that could be repaired. Please look at all photos. And compare to my other listing for a 1962 blanket without medallion. They were stored in caves in the Alps for army use apparently!
