Vintage Marshall Field's John Atkinson Blue Merino King Blanket Deadstock. Pure Wool Cellular Blanket - Atkincel. Featuring the instantly recognisable cellular weave, Atkincel is a beautiful heritage cellular blanket.

Woven from 100% pure new wool, the cellular weave traps warm air, and at the same time encourages air circulation, making it ideal for use at any time of the year. Box shows marks and damage. The original plastic has tears and holes.

I have not taken the blanket out of the plastic to inspect it. The blanket is from a Barrington Hills, Illinois estate. It has been in storage for years. Again, it has been stored for decades, as shown. Unknown if it has any holes or odors other than storage/dust smell.
