Vtg. Irish Wool Woven Cross Tassel Tapestry Bedspread Republic of Ireland

This is for a beautiful Vintage Irish Tapestries Woven Wool Cross Tassel Coverlette, Blanket Bedspread. Made in The Republic of Ireland. Age due to not being able to find any history on makers of piece. This is in beautiful woven wool in Ivory, Tans, Grays, Blacks, Cream.

This has a wide banding with large cross tassels. Zoom in so you can clearly see the workmanship put into this piece.

I do not see any discoloration on piece. No real damage to piece.

Very little to no pilling. Yarn pull here and there but nothing terrible to show.

Appropriate for age and at some point possible usage. Its not new, its a vintage piece. The one thing I will make note of is a area on the wide band edge, where a loop seam thread has broken and will need to be resecured. One side of wide banding has pulled from base.

Maybe max 4.5 to 5 inch section. The width of base of coverlet only (folded in half X2) is appx 62 inches wide and length is appx 79 1/2. Then add to measurements a continuous large wide border cross tassel edging thats on both long sides and 1 short side.

This area measures appx 9 to 10 wide. Im stating 9 to 10 due to variation in tassel thread/ lengths. Common general width about 9 1/2. Due to being wool, this is a dry clean only item. Standard washing would ruin piece.
